2. Hosting and delivery of the website

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. When the website is accessed, technical connection data may be processed, including the IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referring page, browser information and operating system. This processing is required to deliver the website, maintain its stability and protect it against misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, reliable and efficient provision of this website. Where Vercel processes personal data on our behalf, processing is governed by a data processing agreement. Data may be processed in the United States and by Vercel subprocessors. The safeguards for relevant international transfers are described in Vercel's data processing agreement, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Technical data is retained only for as long as required for delivery, security, fault analysis and applicable contractual or legal obligations. Runtime logs available through the Vercel dashboard are retained for one day on the Pro plan, where such logs are generated.

3. Cookies and analytics

The launch version does not use advertising technology, marketing pixels or analytics tools and does not intentionally set non-essential cookies. On that basis, no consent banner is currently required. If an analytics, embedded-media or marketing service is added later, it will be reviewed before activation and this notice and any consent mechanism will be updated where necessary.

4. Contact by email

If you contact Sustainable Edge by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, message and any attachments, to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting professional relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a possible or existing engagement and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other professional enquiries. Our legitimate interest is to respond to and document relevant correspondence.

Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary for the enquiry or professional relationship and then in accordance with applicable statutory retention duties. It may be processed by our email and IT service providers.

Email for nic@sustainable-edge.de is provided by Neo, operated by Titan Solution Ltd SEZC, Willow House, Cricket Square, Grand Cayman, KY1-1001, Cayman Islands. Neo processes email content, attachments and related transmission data to provide the mailbox service. Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Neo's Data Processing Addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers.

The website contains links to external services, including Amazon. No personal data is transmitted to those providers merely because the link is displayed. If you follow an external link, the provider's own privacy information applies.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary for the purposes described above, where a service provider processes it on our behalf, or where disclosure is required by law. Relevant recipients may include the hosting provider, email provider and technical service providers. International transfers are made only where the requirements of Chapter V GDPR are met.
